Kippy data is hosted on Google Cloud Datastore (in europe-west-2 London) and is automatically replicated by google across multiple zones for DR. See here for more detail. https://cloud.google.com/datastore/docs/disaster-recovery

Kippy also maintains scheduled offline backs up all hosted data on the 1st of every month. These backups can be used to recover lost versions of information with bespoke support requests (recoverable dependant on level of support package purchased).

Customer backups

Customers are also encouraged to maintain local backups of any critical information. 

​

This can be achieved by end users downloading information from QuickSet (Save As) to download to Excel and by clicking Download on various Reports to store locally in customer's own backup capability.

 

This can also be automated by the customer's IT team using kippy APIs to extract low-level information.
