Chat To Your Data With AI
Introduction
This guide will show you how to use kippy and artificial intelligence to

analyze your data using a chat-gpt style chatbot

Set up
Register for kippy and upload your data. Alternatively, contact us for a free live demo.​​​
​​The AI Chat screen is available under Home in the menu. If you don't see it, you may need to enable it in Tools | Settings | Integrations | Chat Integration​

Chat​​​​​​​​​​​
To use the AI Chat, simply type in any question and click send (the blue up-arrow on the right). This will submit your question to kippy AI which will usually take around 30 seconds to give you a response.
Once the response is received, you can ask a follow up question which may or may not be related to the response. For example, you could ask for the response to be summarized into 20 words, ask how the returned info compares to last month, or even translate the response to Arabic, etc. You can keep following up and each answer will use the context from before to best respond.
Chat History​​​​
If you want to clear the existing conversation and start a fresh conversation, click the blue blank-paper icon (on the left) to start a new conversation. Your previous conversation will be stored and retrievable by clicking on the circular black arrow (on the right) to see the Chat history.
Each row shows the first question in the each conversation. The blue-tick show your currently selected conversation. Click on the blue edit icon to retrieve that conversation. Click on the orange trash can to delete it. Click the black circular arrow again to return to the initial conversation view.

The way this works is in two phases.
Firstly, the AI understands the question and decides which of your available information it needs to query to help best answer the question. The available information includes your teams, KPIs, projects, scores, appraisals, staff, etc. for the current and previous years and periods.

Then, using the data responses from all the queries, the AI articulates that into a few paragraphs to best answer your question in plain-English.

This has all been optimised to ensure you can quickly get the information you need, but also suggest additional questions you may want to ask and provide helpful tips on things that could improve the underlying performance.
