Score Calculations Explained
Background
Kippy scores items so that the most information is brought to your attention for resolution. It does this by putting scores into red, amber and green. This allows you to quickly visualise where you need to focus. Ultimately, the goal here is to improve your corporate performance, not to a measure a KPI accurately to 5 decimal places.
The scoring and thresholds are configured by default to industry best practices. However, as per usual, everything in kippy is configurable and customatisable.
This article explains how scores are calculated and how to modify the calculation defaults to fit your organisation's needs.

Each KPI has a target and actual for a given period. The score is simply the percentage of the actual over the target.
